Led pre-sales solutioning workshop to evaluate prospect needs and create unique approach aligned to their custom requirements.
CHALLENGE
As a Cornerstone OnDemand partner, Tribridge, was called to support a sales pitch for NBC Universal, to showcase the range of the LMS platform customization capabilities. The Cornerstone OnDemand platform's out-of-the-box UI configuration capabilities allowed for modifying basic visual elements, such as color pallete. However, NBC Universal wanted to understand more about the agility of the interface when using Tribridge's customization services.
As UX Practice Manager, I was called in to work with the Sales team to identify needs and create a prototype highlighting the creative capacity for customization of the platform, as well as showcase configuration capabilities available to demonstrate the 'Art of the Possible'.
APPROACH
We were tasked with creating a working prototype in the Cornerstone OnDemand LMS For the upcoming sales presentation that would highlight the platform's agility and expansive capabilities. Understanding the client was specifically focused on employee evaluations, I created segmented experiences for leaders versus general employees. This showcased the ability for different audiences to experience different dashboards assigned by role within the platform, while keeping the core navigation structure the same.
SOLUTION
NBC Universal demanded an imaginative approach. I designed a custom Harry Potter themed leader dashboard, along with a Minion themed dashboard for general employees. The theme was incorporated throughout the standard Cornerstone data-driven widgets surfacing personalized information. Leaders were able to view upcoming Evaluations for team members and sort by associated due dates, in addition to seeing their assigned personal development plans, transcripts, available reports and other critical widgets. The general employees were able to login to view set goals, tasks and access deep links into the Career, Performance and Development areas within the platform. By surfacing and selecting various widgets and deep linking to relevent areas of the portal we were able to showcase how different experiences between leaders versus employees could be.
OUTCOME
Tribridge closed/won the deal and we were able to establish a long, lucrative relationship with NBCUniversal.
